Election Result Highlights -
- BJP won 31 of the 46 civic bodies this includes five municipal corporations.
- BJP won 64 (which is +18 compare to 2009 election) and congress won 18 ( which is -8 compared to 2009 election).
- Ashok Lahoti won by record 7764 vote margin from ward 43.
- Ashok Lahoti is strong candidate for Jaipur Mayor.
- Bajrag Sing from Congress won by record small 42 vote margin against BJP candidate.
- Gulam Nabi from congress won sixth time from ward 76.
Out of total 6 Nigam in Rajasthan, BJP won 5 Nigam.
Bharatpur (50 seats) - BJP won 18, Congress 11, others 21
Kota (65 seats) - BJP won 53, Congress and other won 6 each
Udaipur (55 seats) - BJP won 49 seats, Congress and others won 3 each
Bikaner (60 seats) - BJP won 35, Congress won 16, others 9
Total wards - 1696, BJP Won 930, Congress 444 and others won 319
