Jaipur Nagar Nigam zones increased from 8 to 15
Jaipur municipal corporation zones increased from 8 to 15
Nagar Nigam areas would be divided into 15 zones now. Nagar
nigam board has given approval for the same. Now Murlipura, Vashali Nagar, Bani
Park, Jagat Pura, Malviya Nagar, Barkat Nagar, Transport Nagar, Kishanpole area
would also have Nigam zone offices.
Until now the city was divided into 8
zones but the area of the city has increased and so the zones have to be
increased also. However there is pressure of political aspects behind this.
Vidhayak have made it clear many times that their areas have three to four
zones and it creates problems for officers to work. Now the zones are made in
such a way that one area would have maximum two zones. But the place and staff
still has to be finalized for the same.

Marriage grounds with less than 25 percent parking areas will be sealed
Marriage grounds with less than 25 percent parking areas will
be sealed.
All those marriage grounds who are not following the norms
will be sealed in future. All those marriage grounds that have cars parked
outside the ground area in wedding season shall be noted. It is a norm to
reserve 25 percent of marriage ground area for parking space. In most marriage
grounds only 10 percent of ground area has been kept for parking purposes.
Nagar nigam license committee is making a parshad samiti on various zones to
solve this problem. This samiti will prepare a report of marriage grounds zone
wise each month.
There are more than 1200 marriage gardens in the city and out
of which 650 are registered under Nagam nigam-
Surveys would be conducted zone wise and if the norms are
broken then harsh actions will be taken. The samiti will make inquiries and
survey the various gardens. They will check the parking area space and the
provisions of kitchen etc in the ground according to prescribed norms. Those
gardens which have not left 25 percent space for parking area will be fined and
sealed.

The radiation from towers came out less in the inquiry. If
anyone has a doubt they can get an inquiry done themselves.
DOT team did inquiries in C Scheme, Vaishali, Maliviya Nagar and
Gangori Bazaar. Department of telecom did an inquiry about towers in the above
areas in the past week. The team has claimed that the radiation coming out of
the towers is very less than the prescribed limit. So towers shouldn't be
blamed for health related problems. Dot officers specified that if someone
complains about the radiation from the towers then the team will go to the
specified area and check the radiation levels. The DOT office is located at
Jhalana in Jaipur. There is an application process for the same which has to be
completed in the office. The DOT team has come forward between the common
people to make digital India plan successful.
10 lakh rupees fine on Radiation more than prescribed norm.
Senior DDG Ram Narayan specified at TTRM that 10 lakhs rupees
fine would be levied upon the owner of tower if the radiation is over the
prescribed norm.

Nagar Nigam working committee took 15 important decision in a recent meeting.The most important decision has been taken in the field of housing construction. The Nagar Nigam seals illegal constructions every second day and opens the seals taking any kinds of shapath patra is a major complaint against Nagar Nigam. The seal deal will be closed for the same. The next meeting will take place on 21 November.
The meeting was held with Mayor Nirmal Nahata being present. Parshad and chairman stated that the officers shouldn't create a deal in the seal cases. If the building is illegal, it has to be demolished quickly. If a part is illegal then the compound amount should be decided. Chairman Robin stated that JEN gets indulged in bribery and give notice of illegal construction without deciding properly. People are terrorized because of the seal so that the concerned person bribes them with money. Man Pandit, Vishnu Lahta, and all members decided to stop the seal deal.
Around 260 buildings have been sealed in 8 zones of Nagar Nigam. Most cases were where people were constructing houses for themselves and on behalf of a small mistake in set back the property was sealed. Nagar Nigam is not opening the seal and either giving any information regarding the time of opening of the seal. Around 200 cases are such which can be solved with the compound amount and people are ready to pay that but Nagar Nigam is not taking any action.
The committee stated that either take compound amount or demolish the illegal properties. But the problem arises that if someone made a three-storeyed building and its totally illegal then Nagar Nigam can't even demolish it in 10 days as they don't have the infrastructure for the same. Neither the engineers are available who can foresee the demolishing of the building safely. Also, there is a committee for compounding but the file doesn't even reach there for any compounding to happen.
Also, it was decided that dead cleaning worker's family would be given provision for the appointment of someone from the family for the job. Around 102 such cases had been forwarded and out of which 101 cases have been cleared. They would be appointed soon. Most will be appointed to the post of cleaning worker. 32 kanishth abhiyanta would be made permanent along with 52 firefighters.
Sb's which were caught while taking bribe have not been saved by the committee. Abhiyojan swikrati was finally granted to Dharam Singh Meena and Karan Singh. Ravindra Kumar Tiwari case has also been given abhiyojan swikrati.

No one is following the rules and regulations set for Wedding grounds in the city these days. Those wedding grounds that are operating without parking space will be sealed from now onward. Nagar Nigam is making a list of such grounds. After Diwali, the proper action would be taken on the same after Diwali. There are more than 450 registered wedding grounds and a similar number of unregistered wedding grounds in the city.
Most wedding grounds do not have parking facility and the vehicles are parked on the road. This creates traffic and pedestrian problems. However, till now Nagar Nigam has been more interested in procuring money than to relieve people's problems. This is the reason such wedding grounds with no parking space have been functioning in the city.
Under Nagar Nigam Jaipur 2012 rule a wedding ground management requires 32 points to be cleared. Most of the rules are not being followed properly. Nigam also has been only accountable for taking rent, license amount and city tax till now. There have been no concerns regarding parking, cleanliness, fire brigade facility etc. It is mandatory to leave at least 25% of total space for parking purposes.
According to Vishnu Lata of license committee Nagar Nigam, the proper action would be taken against the wedding grounds without a parking space. Zone wise list is being prepared. Concerned officers have been given instructions.

The increasing land prices have changed the picture of parking in the city. Now big drainage systems are being looked at where multi-tiered parking can be constructed. The work on Jawahar Nagar Nala has been started near world trade park for the same. The consultant company is searching for another such place in the city. According to sources, the places where parking is required has become very costly so such places would be auctioned and crores would be gained. Parking is supposed to be made on drainage systems.

Parshads are competing regarding cleanliness in Vidhydhar Nagar area. After team 9, team 10 is also geared up in cleaning the area. The main road of Vidhydhar Nagar from DTO office and Royal Plaza's 2 km corridor has been cleaned by team 10 in 20 days.
Under the guidance of Parshad Mahendra Choudhary, people clean up the area in the morning for 2 hours. The tools are provided by the Parshad. After the cleaning up the area has been made green by planting saplings and trees. More than 500 trees are to be put up in this corridor. Up till now 300 trees have been planted.

Hingonia Goshala which has been defamed for the deaths of cows is being adopted by Akshay Patra.The Akshay Patra foundation will take care of the Goshala for 19 years and take care of the upkeep of cows and arrange their fodder. The foundation says that they will start in a small area as a pilot project first and later the whole management will be taken in their hands. Swaytah department's Manjit Singh and the foundation has agreed together on this matter. Now final MOU will be made. Earlier Miraj company's owner had come forward but later he declined to take care of Hingonia Goshala.

The road sweeper machine costs nine lakh per month, but its effect is hardly seen on the roads.
The picture regarding the cleanliness in Jaipur looks bleak. The amount spent in cleanliness on books does not match with the actual work done on the spot. Four road sweeper machines have been set up for main areas and roads of Jaipur and that expense amounts to nine lakh monthly. The point to be noted is that the road sweeper machines are only used to clean the dust near the dividers. The main cleaning work is done by the Beat workers. To get more rentals the Nigam has started the process to get four-truck mountain road sweeper machine. According to Xen of Nigam Garage Atul Sharma, “The route of tracker mountain road sweeper machine is fixed and it works on those tracks only. Some machines have been put on VIP routes even on Sundays. The road sweeper rentals have been decreased by 30 % by the committee appeal. “

According to the chairman of garage committee, Man Pandit, “The machines were taken up for the cleanliness of roads but they have been just temporary solutions. As the cleanliness, committee had objections so the rentals were decreased by 30%. Garage committee had put the proposal of tenders again but till now nothing has been finalized.”

One year of city government- JNN Parshad Work Update

The city government will be a year old on Thursday. Around 50 lakh of budget was approved per ward for all 91 wards for a year. All the money was spent as per the will of Parshads. In addition, projects of around 20 lakhs were supposed to have been done on zone level. Whether it was lack of work ethics or irresponsible behavior of parshads, but no special work projects have been completed in any ward.
According to Nagar Nigam, not a single rupee work was accomplished in five wards in a year. Seventeen parshads could pass the work orders of eight lakhs only including the chairman Vishnu Latta and Vimlesh Meena. Not only this mayor Nirmal Nahata himself could only finish work orders of 74 lakh rupees. Around 32 Parshads could only complete work orders under 50 lakhs in the projects of road development, sewer lines, and other developmental works. Bhaskar took the survey of work done in all wards and it came into light that from the date of commencement of board 25 Nov 2014 till 25 Nov 2015 around 84, crore rupees of work orders have been accomplished in all wards. Out of these 525 work orders were given for other development works.
Even if there were unfavorable, circumstances in the past but this time the board and the mayor are both of BJP.
Jaipur Nagar Nigam work in wards
Jaipur Nagar Nigam is unable to commence work in wards. Parshads are dependent on JDA. Jaipur Nagar Nigam requires 225 crores for the growth and development of unmade colonies.
Nagar Nigam is our government only in books. The biggest reason behind this fallback is that even basic works like Roads, Road lights and cleanliness are also being done by JDA. The Parshads of Nagar Nigam are speaking out rightly that ‘We ask the Nagar Nigam department about the works regarding our wards. But nothing is done. We ourselves are dependent on JDA.‘
Out of these most parshads are either newly appointed or have been granted a bigger area after permission. JDA has fixed roads, sewerages, gutters, road lights in about 32 wards of unmade area. Also JDA has given 75 crore rupees to Nagar Nigam this year. According to JDA, around 25 crores were given before resurgent Rajasthan and around 15 crores were given during FIPIK conclave.
One year has passed like this. Now the UDH minister has asked all the concerned authorities to clarify their achievements. As Nagar Nigam has nothing to show these days, achievements are being searched.
Everyone blamed the system
There have been two meetings of Nagar Nigam’s fifth board in a year’s time. The first one on 13 Feb was about budget. The second meeting about work discussions was held on 21 may. Only 19 Parshads spoke up in this meeting. They brought into light many loopholes. But rest of the Parshads didn’t say anything or put forward their views.

Prodia a Spain company has helped the Rajasthan government’s information technology and telecommunication department by providing them with Prodia device. This device can be attached with set top box. DTH companies have been given this proposal and they are in process of brainstorming that whether the device should be attached from outside or new set top boxes with in built prodia devices should be manufactured.
How did this all happen –
Chargeable – Until DTH, companies do not attach this device to set top boxes prodia is providing this device for some charge and has installed it n some houses for experimental purposes.
TV will be connected with server – Prodia device’s software will directly link with server of E Mitra and government and private companies and the remote will act as guide to display the information on TV screen.
